Latest update includes host of new content.

The update finally adds the 28 Invasion levels missing from the initial release along with leaderboards, letting players compare their times with friends.

The Invasion levels offer a series of challenging stages that encourage players to run through them as fast as possible.

"These trap-laden, enemy-festooned timed levels will push your skills to the limit, while increasing total number of Teensies on the PS Vita to 700," said Ubisoft.

A PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version of Rayman Legends is expected to release in February 2014.

Rayman Legends Review | The Game Effect

Added: 24.11.2013 17:17 | 13 views | 0 comments

Rayman Legends doesnt look like a game. When the opening plays, it looks like something from Pixars concept art department brought to life. And then suddenly, the movie you started watching says you get to take control. You get to play the Disney movie that never existed but that you almost wish it did. Every aspect of the game is brimming with personality and character, whether its a chopped tree trunk or Rayman himself. While Origins still felt distinctly like a platformer that was just quirky with its art, Legends features some of the best lighting and character design youll ever see. The contrast with new 3D elements, like water and bosses, helps make the important elements pop. All the detail in the background trumpets each universe you venture into like youre running across storyboard panels and concept art for a movie. You can feel a story building around you thats truly never spoken about, just always merely presented for you to interpret. Its the subtle storytell...

Rayman Legends Wii U Review | Mii-gamer

Added: 17.11.2013 15:17 | 15 views | 0 comments

Seth from Mii-gamer: In summary, Rayman Legends is like Mary Poppinspractically perfect in every way. The near flawless gameplay, the catchy, brilliant music, and the jaw-dropping visuals merge to create one of the best 2D platformers ever made. The biggest flaw of the game is that there isnt MORE of it. It is, to be honest, fairly short, but every minute is crammed with more action and creativity than some games have in their entire campaign. If youre a fan of platformers, passing this game up would be a serious shame. If you arent, give this game a try, and you might become one. No game is perfect, but, at least in the realm of platformers, it would be pretty dang hard to be better than this.

Next-gen Rayman Legends port in the works?

CEO Yves Guillemot discussed the game during the publisher's Q2 financial results last night, simply stating: "Rayman next-gen is coming in February."

Guillemot didn't go on to confirm what the title may be but, given the time frame, a next-gen port of Legends appears to make most sense.

Rayman Legends released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Wii U and PC in August following a lengthy 9 month delay. The game had originally been due to launch on Wii U back in November 2012.

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot revealed during a fiscal conference call that Rayman Legends will be on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in February 2014.

Rayman Legends was originally supposed to be a Wii U exclusive, but it lost its console exclusivity due to the poor install base on the Wii U. And now it will be available on the next-gen early next year. No one will have an excuse to not own the game at that point.

Rayman Legends Review (ITF Gaming)

Added: 08.11.2013 17:21 | 12 views | 0 comments

Bracken Lee-Rudolph from ITF Gaming writes: Rayman, the disembodied platforming legend (no pun, I swear), has been around in gaming for as long as I can remember, making appearances in everything from childrens games to mobile platformers. Rayman Legends is the latest in this characters tremendous legacy of platformers and it certainly lives up to the reputation the last 18 years of Rayman games have built the franchise.
